APPENDIX - IV

REWARDS TO INFORMANTS OF DEATH OF SCHEDULE ANIMALS

Persons giving information on death of Wild animals including in schedules to the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 with their amendments from time to time shall be rewarded as follows :

1.	Information on death of Tiger, Panther and Elephant leading of discovery of the dead body.	Rs.500/- each case
2.	Information leading to recovery of dead body of Tiger or panther due to poisoning	Rs.2,000/- each case
3.	Information leading to apprehension of offenders in cases of hunting / trapping	Rs.5000/- each case
4.	Information leading to apprehension and arrest of culprit in case of elephants	Rs.1,000/- each case
5.	Information leading to arrest of culprit in case of other animals included in schedules listed under the Wild Life (P) Act. 1972.	Rs.200/- each case
6.	Information leading to detection of trade in Tiger skins / Bones and Vital organs.	Rs.10,000/- each case
