National ICT Conference on e-Democracy

The District West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh has made significant efforts in promoting e-democracy within the district.  The project rural e-seva has provided tremendous ease to the citizens in accessing various services and has helped them to appreciate the gains offered by Information and Communications Technology.  With intent to showcase this effort and to provide the opportunity for everybody to gain mutually and deliberate on issues concerning e-democracy, it is proposed to hold a 2 days National ICT conference in our district. This would also provide the opportunity for the experts to interact with the grass root level field functionaries working in this area.

 The draft conference schedule outline is enclosed along with the Practical information on the conference. I would also like to reiterate that the conference schedule outline is based on the preliminary feedback that I had got from the interested members and can be changed based on further advice and suggestions.

 We would like to request you to participate in this conference and share and discuss your expertise and opinion with other participants and other interested specialists from all over the country.

 Should you accept our invitation, we would be very grateful to receive an abstract of your presentation. The abstract should be of 600-650 words (written in Times New Roman, font size 12). As far as applicable, it should provide details on concrete experiences, results, or data, and should also outline the key message you wish the conference participants to take from the presentation. A special attention should also been given to any argument that can demonstrate the transferability of the case or example.

 We would also appreciate if you can indicate your travel plans so that your pick up and accommodation logistics can be organized at our end.
