            The Khadi  & Village industries Commission, Mumbai has to Introduced the Rural Employment Generation Programme under Margin Money Scheme with a view to Generate more Employment to the unemployed youth in the rural areas.

            The Andhra Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB),W.G.Dist Eluru has allotted the budget of Rs.46,00,000/- of Margin Money  to 176 small and tiny units and to 16 Bulk units  among 46 mandals for selection and grounding of the units under Swayam  Upadhi Sopanam for the year 2005-2006.

GUIDELINES FOR REGP – MARGIN MONEY SCHEME(MIDDLE ENDED SUBSIDY) UNDER SWAYAM UPADHI SOPANAM

• No Education and no Age limit.

• The units shall be established in the rural area(village)  only.

• It is a bank linked scheme.

• To provide employment  to the rural unemployed youth

• It is a middle ended subsidy.

• Margin Money will be provided at the rate of 25% for the General Categories and @30%for

  SC/ST/OBC/Minority/PHC/Ex – serviceman and women Categories.

• The Beneficiary shall deposit @10% under General Categories and @5% under SC/ST/

  OBC/Minority/PHC/Ex – serviceman and women Categories.

• as a share of  Contribution in the bank.

• The eligible candidates shall be identified and selected.

• The selected application shall be sent to A.D,KVIB, ELURU. so as to send the same to the bank

  consent for release of the sanction funds.

• The banker shall release funds towards capital expenditure as a first spell for purchase of

   required machinery /equipment/tools. Then the proposal shall be processed and sent to

   central office, KVIB, Hyderabad. along with requisite papers as mentioned in the application

   for sanction of eligible Margin Money.

• The Margin Money will be Sanctioned at central office, Hyderabad and sent to the bank

   consent and will be kept under TDR for a period of 2 years.

• It will be converted as subsidy  after 2 years basing on the good performance of the minute

• The units can be established with a project cost starts from Rs. 10,000 to 25,00,000.

• Projects can starts under industry and service.
