BRIEF NOTE ON INDIRAPRAHA UNDER RIDF-IX

Assignment land with a financial out lay of Rs. 6.29 crores

sanction, in which an amount of 2.22 Crores expenditure have been incurred so
far.

With regards to RIDF-X the programme is
implementing in 3875 Ha. of Assignment land with a financial out lay of Rs.5.31
crores. 95 blocks are identified and grounded 89 blocks covering in 23 mandals.

Land preparation activities have been
completed and plantation activities are going on.

Out of an amount of Rs.5.31 crores
sanction, an amount of 1.12 Crores expenditure have been incurred so far.
ITC
CLONES :
During the year 2006-07 a total no. of 5,32,630 plants were required for
plantation in CLDP blocks and an amount of Rs.21,07,875/- was paid as DDs to
the ITC Ltd., and the lifting of the plants has been taken-up and total no. of
293750 plants were supplied and plantation was completed.
CASHEW :
During the year 2006-07 a total no. of 137182 plants were required for
plantation for the total area of 2286 ac.in CLDP blocks and a no. of 95050
plants were lifted from the nurseries of SHG groups financed by ITDA, K.R.Puram
and the amount of Rs.4,27,725/- is being paid to the SHG groups for an area of
1056 Ac.
MANGO :
During the year 2006-07 a total number of 20,640 plants was supplied and
plantation was completed in an area of 350 ac.
JATROPHA
:
During the year 2006-07 an area of 1,310 Acres have been identified for
taken up the plantation of the Bio-Diesel Jatropha plants an a no. of 1,49,050
plants was supplied by the TERI company and plantation was completed.
