Launched to bridge the digital divide in the rural
areas of the state, e-seva has used ICTs for providing
access to various citizen-to-citizen (C2C) and
citizen-to-government (C2G) services to rural people.
Under this project, web enabled rural kiosks have been
set up and are managed by women. The e-Seva Centres run
on a district portal that allows access to various
citizen services ranging from issuing various
certificates to disseminating information about
educational programmes. Over 12000 elementary school
students are currently taking classes three times a
month at their nearest e-seva
centre.
