Established in 1979, DRDA, West Godavari
implementing various schemes of State and Central Governments for
developing villages in the District. The DRDA is playing a crucial
role to bring the various Government sponsoring schemes to the door
steps of the poor people residing at villages. DWCRA groups
were started in 1994. SGSY was impelementing from 1999-2000.
