| The Government of India has announced
NOAP scheme under NSAP for implemen-tation from 15-8-1995 onwards. Under
this scheme, the Government of India is giving Rs.75/- per person to all
the people above 65 years of age who are destitutes having little or no
means of subsistence. The State Government has added the sanction of
NOAP by allocating separate state budget.
Under this scheme, the Government of India
has allocated a target of 4,66,000 and the State Government has added a
target 8,28,400 making a total of 12,94,400 persons to be assisted from
1998-99 onwards.
Details of Assistance
Every monthly @ Rs. 75/- Per Month to the oldage people in life time.
Eligibility
Benificiary should be residing not less than 3 years in the Distict.
Above 65 years of age.
Should be BPL family and he/she is not livilihood.
Exceptions
The age for PH candidates 18 years and above.
