PSTET Application Form 2022: Punjab TET Notification at pstet.pseb.ac.in

Punjab School Education Board i.e. PSEB has released the PSTET 2022 Notification on 22nd November 2022 via online mode. Through this notification, Punjab Board has invited applications for PSTET 2022 ETT and TGT Posts in Punjab Government Schools.

Every year, lakhs of eligible candidates, who have the aim to become government teacher in Punjab, wait for the release of PSTET Application Form. Now, their wait is over. PSTET 2022 – Important Dates:

Punjab Board of School Education has released the schedule of the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test 2022. This year PSTET will be conducted on 24th December. Candidates can apply online for this from 25th November. The last date for PSTET online application will be 6th December till 12 midnight. The exam will be held on Friday.

PSTET Application Form 2022 Check Eligibility Criteria

PSEB, Mohali has started the application process for Punjab TET 2022 in November 2022. But, before going to apply for PSTET 2022, you should check the eligibility criteria for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test 2022.

Firstly the age of the applicant should be 18 years. Secondly, the educational qualifications for different learning levels are given in the following table:

Educational Qualification Criteria:

Paper 1: Class I to V (Primary)	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teachers for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates has mandatory to undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
Paper 2: Class VI to VIII (Upper Primary)	Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education). Any candidate having qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET exam.

Punjab TET 2022 Exam Pattern: 

Punjab Board will close the application process for PSTET 2022 on 06 December 2022. After that they will organize the written test via offline mode on 24th December 2022.

The written exam for all levels of Teaching posts in Punjab will be conducted for 150 marks. There will be total 5 topics and each topic will carry 30 marks. There will be negative marking in case of attempting wrong answers. The Durtion of PSTET 2022 will be 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.
